Our Work in Pillar Social Action 2023
The featured project is an initiative submitted by the Social Action pillar teams that meets several requirements, such as: being aligned with the SDGs that the organization has defined to work on, that its implementation does not negatively impact another SDG, and that it generates a sustainable impact. Among the projects that apply, the team of experts selects one to which the company provides funding for its implementation throughout the year.
In 2022, the most important initiative was the implementation of a sensory room for the "Tierra de Esperanza" Foundation in Antofagasta, which included the implementation of educational elements and tools, as well as the incorporation of an occupational therapist.
In 2023, the project chosen was to support the creation of a multifunctional space for a workshop room and playground, for the FPP program (Focused Prevention Program) in the rural community of Tambo, in the Choapa Valley. To allow the realization of workshops for children and adolescents. This space will not only improve their experience, but also contribute to the development and well-being of the community in general.
More than just altruistic acts, our social campaigns are tangible expressions of solidarity. Designed to support groups with diverse needs, these campaigns reflect our commitment to the well-being of society. From mobilizing resources to raising awareness, each campaign seeks to make a tangible difference in the lives of those it impacts.
In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we recognize the importance of the Inner Development Goals (IDGs). As we move forward, we seek not only to transform lives, but also to enable profound change in the way we relate to our environment and each other.
The holidays are a special time for sharing and giving. In keeping with this tradition, we extend our support to foundations and groups that require special attention at this time of year. Beyond the materiality of the gifts, we seek to provide meaningful support that makes a positive difference in the lives of those in need. It is our way of giving back some of the good fortune we have had and sowing seeds of hope and solidarity in our community.
