Toronto, Monday, March 4, 2024<\/strong> .- With 24 years of experience and offices in the main mining countries of the world (Chile, Peru and Australia), they now add Canada, with a base in Toronto and subsidiaries in Quebec and Saskatchewan. Vantaz Group is currently the largest Chilean consulting firm dedicated exclusively to mining in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth noting that this start of operations not only represents a milestone in Vantaz Group's internationalization process, but also stands out in a context where only 5% of domestic mining suppliers offer services abroad. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this sense, and considering that mining is Chile's main economic activity, contributing 15.2% of the country's total GDP annually, it is crucial for Chilean suppliers to expand, innovate and market their solutions and products in international markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attractive Canadian mining market<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Canadian mining industry is steadily growing. In 2022, it contributed US$125 billion to the national GDP (5% of the annual total) and was responsible for 22% of Canada's total national exports, employing 665,000 people directly and indirectly across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por eso, el objetivo de nuestra misi\u00f3n empresarial al PDAC, la que estamos organizando en conjunto con AndesMets, Endeavor y Vantaz, busca que compa\u00f1\u00edas de soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas y de innovaci\u00f3n para la miner\u00eda conozcan y se relacionen con el ecosistema minero canadiense, con el objetivo final de que puedan establecer lazos comerciales y eventualmente internacionalizarse en Canad\u00e1.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chile and Canada have a rich trade history. Chile's total exports to Canada in 2022 will exceed US$1,362.7 million, 11.42% more than in 2021. Of this amount, US$576.5 million are goods, US$773 million are copper and US$13.1 million are services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Vantaz Group's operations will be staffed by Canadian professionals who will work closely with teams in other countries where the Group has offices. Initially, they will be dedicated to projects related to technology and productivity, but later they will come with their complete offer that includes solutions in sustainability, asset management and studies for various operational and economic aspects of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
